Departing from Siem Reap (or other destinations upon request), travel to the renowned birding site of Tmat Paeuy in Preah Vihear Province, internationally recognised as the best location to see the Critically Endangered Giant Ibis, Cambodia's national bird, and the elusive White-shouldered Ibis. Accompanied by your personal experienced Chinese/English/Khmer birding guide, you'll visit seasonal wetlands and dry deciduous forests in search of these iconic species and a variety of other Northern Plains birds.

Your tour includes an overnight stay at the beautiful Kriel Lodge, a birding  paradise in Tmat Paeuy village. This recently reimagined lodge is an ideal base for exploring the Northern Plains while supporting community-led conservation initiatives.
